Dewina Kraus brings a wealth of diverse clinical experience to her practice, having worked in settings ranging from inpatient mental health and corrections to school-based care and private outpatient clinics. Dewina is known by her clients as warm, compassionate, and wise. Having the advantage of experience, Dewina’s clients appreciate her ability to be honest and non-judgmental.

A Holistic Clinical Approach: Dewina’s work is a rich tapestry of evidence-based practices. She has a particular interest in how the body and mind connect, utilizing Polyvagal Theory and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to help patients navigate trauma and attachment disruption. As a compliment she has specialized training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is also influenced by Gottman Institute methods and Emotion-Focused techniques, Tying all of this together, Dewina believes in the healing power of relationships.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dewina is dedicated to the growth of the profession. She serves as a Board-Approved Supervisor for LMFT and LPCC candidates and was formerly adjunct faculty for St. Mary’s University of Minnesota—Rochester.
