ART Trained Therapist
Have you ever felt like you understand what you've been through, yet something within you continues to respond as though the experience is still happening?

Trauma doesn't always live in our conscious thoughts. It can also show up in our emotional responses, nervous system patterns, relationships, and the ways we experience ourselves and the world around us.

I'm a trauma-focused psychotherapist and founder of Embody Healing in San Antonio, Texas. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and EMDRIA Certified Therapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and longstanding patterns that can be difficult to shift.

My integrative approach draws from Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and other mind-body approaches to support meaningful, lasting change.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy offers a unique approach to processing distressing memories and experiences, often without requiring clients to verbally recount every detail of what happened. Through guided imagery and eye movements, ART can help reduce the emotional intensity associated with painful experiences while supporting new perspectives and possibilities.

I believe healing involves more than gaining insight into our experiences. It also includes helping our minds and nervous systems develop a greater capacity for safety, flexibility, and connection.

My work is compassionate, collaborative, and attuned to each individual's unique needs. Whether you're navigating a specific traumatic experience or seeking to resolve deeper emotional patterns, my intention is to support you in moving beyond simply managing symptoms toward a greater sense of freedom, connection, and wholeness.
