Dr. Jennifer N. Winter Joiner, EdD, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has dedicated her career to providing compassionate trauma-informed clinical care to children with diverse needs, military veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and their families. Dr. Jennifer holds masters and doctoral degrees in Counseling Psychology and describes her approach as humanistic, collaborative, and strength-based. She also enjoys incorporating mindfulness, guided imagery, art and movement expression exercises whenever clinically appropriate. Dr. Jennifer has extensive experience serving individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups struggling with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, neurodiversity, relationship distress, family-of-origin issues, overachievement, and perfectionism.
