Julie Morgavi

MA, LMFT

ART Trained Therapist
My trauma-informed approach is through the lens of Attachment Theory and the often inevitable developmental and relational trauma that accompanies that territory. I work with all relational issues, specializing in family estrangement and reconciliation therapy. I'm always keeping an eye out for the possibility of neurodiversity contributing to developmental and relational challenges, shifting what was once misinterpreted thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to a better understanding and more specific and compassionate ways of addressing them.

I incorporate conventional therapeutic modalities as well as specific trauma interventions such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Ketamine -Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also incorporate a harm-reduction approach toward addiction and have a Buddhist Psychology perspective. I embrace all forms of spirituality as a source of healing.

I believe in equality for all, am spiritually minded, a defender of the oppressed, and a rabid ally for underrepresented, disenfranchised, and marginalized communities. While always striving for comprehensive understanding and consideration of the societal impact on diversity, I have also come to appreciate the fundamental commonalities we share in the human experience. I place an exceptionally high value on the delicacy of the therapeutic process and the importance of the client-therapist relationship.

I strongly believe we are not meant to walk this earth alone. Let's walk together.

I've come to believe that people make far more sense than they realize, once we begin the exploration. All roads lead to Rome. It doesn't matter where we start, if you're ready, we'll get there.
