Master ART Practitioner
If money brings up dread, you’re not alone. ART can gently ease it, often in a few sessions.
So many of us carry money stress quietly: the knot in your stomach when a bill arrives, the same argument with your partner about spending, the shame left over from growing up with too little. None of that means something is wrong with you. It means your nervous system learned to protect you, and it can learn something new.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Financial Therapist, and Master ART Practitioner, and I’ve been walking alongside clients at Koru Financial Therapy since 2018. ART helps soften the memories and triggers behind money stress, so you can meet your finances with calm instead of panic. You don’t have to share every painful detail out loud for it to work.
Alongside ART, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and practical financial guidance. Together, we’ll care for your relationship with money and build a plan that fits your life. I welcome individuals, couples, entrepreneurs, and new or expecting parents navigating financial anxiety, high cost-of-living stress, money perfectionism, money conflict, ADHD and money, and big life transitions.
We can meet online anywhere in California, or in Sacramento. I’m an out-of-network provider and happy to provide superbills.
