Registered Counselling Psychologist
Master ART Practitioner
If you are carrying the effects of trauma, PTSD, grief, chronic stress, or a difficult life transition, you don’t have to work through it alone. As a Master ART Practitioner and Counselling Psychologist with 22 years of clinical experience, I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help adults (ages 19–65) safely process painful memories—often without needing to speak the details aloud—and experience rapid, meaningful change.
I work with a wide range of concerns and have extensive experience supporting veterans, first responders, Police/RCMP, and their family members. I also support individuals navigating interpersonal challenges, self-esteem concerns, complicated grief, or feeling stuck.
My practice is welcoming, collaborative, and flexible. While ART is a primary tool for rapid resolution, I also draw on EMDR, Attachment-Focused EMDR, FLASH, and ACT, alongside person-centred and interpersonal approaches. We will always work at a pace that respects your readiness, prioritizing safety and stabilization whenever needed.
Originally from the UK, my broad perspective is shaped by living and working across the UK and Ireland. I began my career in Northern Ireland, working extensively with complex trauma and PTSD, and have practiced privately in Canada since 2016. Today, I am proud to serve the Nova Scotia community, providing a calm, open space where you can feel deeply understood.
