Dawn Bouillion is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Lafayette, Louisiana, and founder of Embrace Your Brave. She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University and specializes in helping women heal from trauma, narcissistic abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, domestic violence, and religious trauma.

Dawn works with individuals navigating complex PTSD, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, codependency, betrayal, relationship trauma, and the lasting effects of coercive control. She is especially passionate about helping survivors reconnect with themselves, rebuild self-trust, establish healthy boundaries, and reclaim their voices.

Trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dawn offers trauma-focused therapy, extended sessions, and intensive experiences designed to help clients process painful experiences and move toward lasting healing. Her approach integrates ART with Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed, somatic, and other trauma-informed therapeutic practices.

Dawn believes healing is about more than managing symptoms. It is about restoring connection to yourself, your body, your emotions, and your ability to live freely and authentically.
